If you love art and culture, we recommend you visit the main cities but also the smaller medieval hilltop towns and villages in the area. Casina di Rosa is located in a privileged position which allows our guests to reach most of the most popular sites with just a short drive. From Civitella Marittima you can easily reach beautiful towns like Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano in Val D’Orcia, but also Massa Marittima, Pitigliano and Magliano in Toscana in the Maremma. Volterra and San Gimignano are also an easy daytrip from here. All these places can be visited on your own borrowing one of the several guidebooks and road maps available to our guests or by joining a private guided tour of Tuscany or a group guided tour of Tuscany. We can also recommend a visit to smaller, less known villages and towns which well deserve to be discovered and which allow guests to stay away from the tourist crowds. Medieval villages like Montemassi, Roccatederighi, Pari, Porrona, and Arcidosso area all worth visiting, and so are beautiful castles like Monte Antico, Vicarello and Collemassari.
