The perfect, authentic Tuscan experience!

We spent 2 of our 3 weeks in Italy in this quiet, peaceful, authentic village in Tuscany, and were very sad to leave :(

The property was spotless, roomy and well equipped as a home base, or to do all of your cooking there if you wanted. It is close to everything you would want, such as:
– Grosseto – a larger town about a 20 minute drive away, with all the amenities such as grocery stores (Coop, Pam, Conad), gas stations, the train station, etc.
– Marina di Grosseto is about a 40 minute drive, with fantastic beaches
– Countless medieval villages, castles and unbelievable scenery of vineyards and olive groves all within a 1 hour driving radius – we could not even begin to see them all!

Gloria and Marcel were superb to deal with – fantastic communication and great recommendations in helping us plan some of the must see sights nearby. Both speak impeccable English (Marcel being a transplanted Canadian), so nothing was ever lost in translation – this was a huge relief since we had never been to Italy before, don’t speak the language, and intentionally sought out an authentic travel experience where we knew the locals didn’t speak English. Everything worked out perfectly!
