Nature and Sport in Tuscany

For nature lovers, the surrounding countryside offers numerous trails for walks, hikes and mountain biking.

Nearby Monte Amiata features mountain trails and Monte Labro and the Argentario peninsula are home to two of Italy’s largest national parks.

Casina di Rosa is an ideal base for those wishing to partake of the excellent hunting in the area. Local game is plentiful and includes wild boar, hare and pheasant. It is also possible to arrange excursions on horseback with a nearby riding farm.

The Tyrrhenian coast, which annually receives recognition for the quality of the water and its beaches, is only a short distance away. Soak up the sun on the beaches of Alberese, Castiglione della Pescaia, Punt’Ala, Argentario and the islands of Elba and Giglio.

Natural hot springs are nearby and open to the public year round (Petriolo 13km, and Saturnia 20km).

What our guests are saying

  • Close of everything in Tuscany. My only regret, is that we did not stay here for the 2 weeks.
