Our vacation rental reviews

Fantastic hilltop village location to explore Tuscany.

What a gem of a find for us on our 7 week trip through Italy! This cosy cottage has everything you need for a comfortable base, including a kitchen kitted out with the basic herbs, oils, coffee, tea etc, and a washing machine – bliss!!. Wi fi is fast and reliable and the welcome gifts of wine, biscuits, flowers and chocolates were a huge treat for weary travellers. heaps of travel books and maps focused on Tuscany. The opportunity to experience village life was a highlight over the week we were there. Yes, the local bakery, supermarket and restaurant are all fantastic as described elsewhere and the views from the top of the village are not to be missed. A car is essential to explore the surrounding areas. We were particularly interested in the Etruscan towns and found many to explore. A day trip to Siena is easy from here and we also took the opportunity to enjoy the thermal springs in Petriolo and Saturnia. Gloria and Marcel have created a cosy nook with the needs of travellers in mind here in southern Tuscany – Gloria’s home village – and we would definitely choose to stay here again on our next adventure.
